Take in the stunning – and exclusive – views of the Hearst Castle property while sipping on the region’s best wines at the 4th Annual BlendFest On The Coast, which kicks off Friday February 9.
BlendFest is a weekend-long wine festival and celebration that brings together 30 of Paso Robles’s top wineries at one of California’s most iconic and awe-inspiring coastal vistas – the famed Heart Castle property.
BlendFest is the only wine event that celebrates the art of blending various grape varieties to craft something delicious. BlendFest praises these rule-breaking, unconventional wines and the trailblazing winemakers who produce them. Guests get to sip these wines, meet the winemakers and play winemaker in a hands-on Blending Seminar.
The weekend starts with a multi-course Winemaker Dinner at Indigo Moon in Cambria at 6:30pm on Friday, February 9.
The Grand Tasting follows on Saturday, February 10 at the Hearst Castle property in Old San Simeon Village. Taste 30 renowned Paso Robles wineries while you nibble on cheese and hors d’oeuvres. The first tasting begins at 1pm; the second, and a sunset tasting, begins at 4:30pm.
The Blending Seminar is on Sunday, February 11 at 10am, where winemakers teach guests how to make their own blend. Afterwards, enjoy your own blend with lunch at the Cavalier Restaurant in San Simeon.

Not only is San Simeon the ideal place to stay for the festival, booking room at one of its many hotels, BlendFest Grand Tasting ticket holders will automatically receive VIP status and be granted early access.
