San Simeon is open! Stretches of Highway 1 are under construction. Please refer to current road closures and be in touch with individual businesses directly to confirm reservations, business hours and safest routes to travel as you travel beyond San Simeon.

Highway 1 between San Simeon and Big Sur’s Limekiln State Park is now open for travelers. Plan your trip with these must-visit stops. However, Limekiln State Park is still closed.

San Simeon Pier – Closed

The San Simeon Pier is currently closed for construction after damage in the fall. The surrounding beach, viewing and picnic area remain accessible to the public.
