For visitors seeking the latest enchanting experience, Hearst Castle offers the Art Under the Moonlight limited tour series during select evenings in fall. This unique 100-minute journey allows visitors to explore William Randolph Hearst’s world-renowned art collection as he often did, under the captivating glow of moonlight. The tour provides a rare chance to view illuminated outdoor works and interior pieces, offering insights into their historical significance. Guests will tread the same moonlit paths once walked by Hearst and his illustrious visitors, surrounded by fragrant blooms and the soothing sounds of hilltop fountains. The evening setting creates a magical atmosphere, showcasing the art collection in its most charming light and offering a perspective that daytime visitors rarely experience. While the standard tour involves navigating 160 stairs, an ADA-accessible version is available upon request.

    These guided tours will be available on select Fridays and Saturdays from Oct. 4 through Nov. 16. Due to limited availability, advance reservations are highly recommended for this extraordinary opportunity to experience the opulence of Hearst Castle in a whole new light.
