Central Coast Classico

VINTAGE BIKES. ICONIC ROADS. PURE CYCLING.

The Central Coast Classico is a three-day cycling festival in Cambria, California that celebrates the soul of cycling—where steel frames from the past come to play with the modern bikes of now. This new event brings together heritage craftsmanship, challenging coastal routes, and a community-first spirit set against quiet back roads, rolling green hills, and unforgettable scenery.

The main rides of the Central Coast Classico will take place on Saturday, April 25, and be spread across two different categories. Each category will have two options for routes—both of them non-timed, loaded with their own local challenges, and complemented by awesome Central Coast views.

Vintage Category: Honoring cycling heritage—steel bikes from pre-1987 era encouraged

Modern Category: Open to contemporary road and gravel bikes

Jade Ride – 38 miles

A beautiful coastal ride along iconic Highway 1 and past the historic Piedras Blancas Lighthouse, perfect for enjoying ocean views, moderate terrain, sea breezes, and a chill beach vibe.

Limestone Ride – 75 miles

A more adventurous option with some gravel segments and spirited climbing—rewarding and arduous, showcasing the rugged beauty and the rolling back country vineyards of the Coastal Range.
